Referee Guidelines for SBJJF-Sanctioned Tournaments
Requesting Certified Referees
Tournament organizers may request the availability of certified referees who have been trained and used in previous Saskatchewan Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (SBJJF) events. To inquire about referee availability, please email: contact@saskbjj.ca
If certified referees are not requested or available, organizers are responsible for arranging and compensating their own referee teams.
Suggested Minimum Referee Fees
Chief Official
- $250.00 per full day
- Must hold a minimum rank of Brown Belt
Referee
- $200.00 per full day
- All referees must hold a minimum rank of Blue Belt
All fees must be paid in full by the event organizer at the conclusion of the event.
Referee Training and Certification
